I had just started lining up gigs and sponsorships for my video and photography work, and it tends to become a bit of a lonely lifestyle because when you get that serious, there’s not a lot of people who understand that vision. So I was at the point where I really needed to network and surround myself with people who are down for what I’m doing…This conference was such a surreal experience to spend time with everyone, not just the big names, but everyone from all over the world and understanding that you’re not the only one out there doing it.
